Create Job

Running an Automated Process means creating a Job definition. A Job definition combines an Execution Plan and Managed Entities. A flexible Schedule starts the Job whenever you like.

Manage Job

To manage a Job, simply check the current Job status in the cmAutomator Workbench. There you see the current process status of the job and further log information.

It’s also possible to create an additional Job schedule for a new run.

Self Services

Executing an Automated Process is so easy. So why not share it with others and offer them automated Self Services? With the security settings, you control precisely who can execute it.

Tags

Tags help you keep a clear overview in cmAutomator. Add Tags to a Job and use a tag-specific Search Folder for your personal view.

Automation stability first

Jobs are also integrated into the cmAutomator Secure Repository Version Management. Once you create a Job, it will combine the Execution Plan and the affected Managed Entities with their current version, so no change on the involved object can stop your automated process.

Execution Nodes

Jobs are executed by cmAutomator Executor Nodes. Execution Nodes are highly scalable. You create Executor Node groups and assign a Job Definition a specific group. cmAutomator automatically selects the best available Execution Node at runtime.
